Excuse my ignorance, but would somebody please explain how mesh "training" or "reversible" suits are sized? The two I've bought from different manufacturers fit like nothing I've ever owned previously. Should these mesh "training" suits feel as if I'm wearing my dad's waders? Are these suits targeted at teenagers that wear their pants hanging below their waistlines? Or are these intentionally sized to make me feel as if I've lost forty pounds? Thanks in advance....

"Training" suits are meant to provide extra resistance, i.e., drag, so they fit larger and looser than racing suits. In fact, some people buy them a few sizes "too" large, just to get even more resistance.
