Agreed GBR is doing well in this meet. Most disappointing. There's a lot to select from the US team. I think Coughlin deserves a pass due to illness--especially if she's able to come back in the 200 back later. Moses is a disappointment but this is not a big surprise. He doesn't do well when he has to race several world class swimmer--again, he pays for not swimming NCAAs. Hansen is the number #1 US breaststroker--though it will take the media a while to catch on.
Klete Keller is also a big disappointment, also. He does have a chance at redemption in a few minutes.
Maybe Phelps will give some of the underperforming US swimmers a much needed psyche up with a fast 200 free. We sure have waited a long time for a US swimmer to shine in that event.
