It was during high school when I had one of my most vistorious moments in swimming...it was my first race ever (in a real meet), and the event was 100 free. I was so nervous about my goggles slidding down at the start. so, I tucked my head so far down, that I ended up going way deep...however, my goggles did not slide down, and I was able to come in 2nd place. I was thrilled, yes with placing, but mostly because I was able to swim the 100 without chocking on those darn goggles...something I worried about from the very beginning of the season. :rolleyes:
