I have finally got myself to the point that I am not afraid to float on my stomache with my face in the water. But, I get kind of nervous when I try to coordinate my arm and leg movements at the same time. I can't seem to lift up my arm high enough and I have trouble trying to lift my head up to breathe. Does anyone have any suggestions?

One thing jumps out immediately:
Don't lift your head to breathe; turn your head and breathe to the side.
Easier said than done, I know, but you'll get it with practice.
