Who is your fav swimmer?

Duke Kahanamoku --- He broke down the Latin-Afro-American Second generation, Cuban-Asian, European ancestorial swimming gene pool before there was one. And....He raced Tarzan! Peeps dont race the "King of The Jungle" anymore.... *** Nalu Kahanamoku And of course, more importantly......he played Water Polo. Add to the list... Dara Torres. Watching her medal while achieving the fastest times of her life, during the 2000 Olympics, at the age of 33 really inspired me to get back into swimming. After an 18 year break from swimming competitively in high school, I decided to see if I could better my high school times. Last season, I was able to do just that. My goal for this year is to better the high school record in the 100 Back at the time of my graduation. I was never able to do it at the time and it has haunted me for all of these years. This season I'm within .16 of bettering the mark and I’m hoping to accomplish the feat next weekend. Okay, so it was a small high school and the time isn’t Top 10 caliber but my former teammates at my 20 year reunion this summer probably won't need to know that. ;) Randy
