you read all of these replies and think back to the first time you ever participated in a swim meet and remember all of the place that you went, the people that you have met and become friends with, and most importantly how important of an influence swimming has become in your life.

You know you are a swimmer when ......... you are walking with friends, and it starts to rain....one of the friends turns to you and asks if there is a pool around, because all of a sudden they smell chlorine in the air....
You know your a swimmer when fellow swimmers reach out for you in a serious time of need...people you've never met...and may never meet...but they care.
