Hi all, I'm a relatively new swimmer compared to most of you but have been really enjoying this sport for the past few years. I live in Central Queens (Middle Village) and am a member of the Long Island City YMCA Masters team. They've been really helpful with my training.
I'm interested if anyone trains at the Corona Park Aquatic Center regularly. I went once - only once- with a day pass, but I was a poor swimmer then and I think I was just in a bad mood in general. I went when it was too crowded and school was out.
I'm really surprised the Aquatic center has no swim masters team, nor does Queens College. Currently I train at the Long Island City YMCA and have been enjoying my training with their masters swim team.
Honestly if I came into big bucks I would start my own pool!!!
