I know this is not the national forum spacebar, I want to thank everyone that work & timed & ran the 4 day meet. If you have never been to a National meet, you are missing something from your swimming life!
I swam 6 individual events & 2 relays that taught me how to accept my age & speed both going up!
The comradeship of my fellow swimmers raised my expectations of my dropping self esteem to help me.
Many of the swimmers i did not know but, they cheered me on anyhow!

2019 Mesa, AZ
In Mesa I only got to swim 2 events on Friday. Saturday and Sunday were wiped out due to a back spasm. All I did Thursday was count laps for a teammate and stayed cool as a result. I did hit my entered times so I can't complain. I plan on swimming at the National Senior Games in Albuquerque, NM in June and in Mission Viejo in August. So far I have only gone to meets that I can drive to. Unlike some people I like the hot weather swim meets. It did get hot in Mesa so we went to our car to relax and cool off between events.
