Hello I am currently 16 years old and began swimming at a young age and swan squad for about 2 years stopping around 12.
I'm thinking of joining back to a squad just for general fitness and fun. Just curious if I will be very far behind and if this is a good idea?

Sure, get wet again! My daughter had stopped at 14, then picked it up again as a Second Year at a Division III college. It took a month to get back in the groove, but she loved it and swam her remaining 3 collegiate years.
