In this thread intended to get a reply from Jim Matysek, who I understand manages the USMS Forum, I am wondering if a designated section with personal ads for dating would be a good idea in the USMS Forum.
From my perspective as a single male investing in Masters Swimming I would believe so, since I keep on meeting women who have other profiles but being attracted to like-minded and similar, rare to find in 'fit' San Diego.
I would expect this post is meant to be humorous. While I can appreciate someone looking for a training partner, having this forum used for dating seems a little beyond the scope of what most people are using it for.
One thing I appreciate about the discussion forum is that it is focused on swimming. I say let's keep it that way. There are a zillion dating web sites out there already.
