I am part of a group trying to lobby our city for a 50meter pool. We are trying to arm ourselfs with all the information we can. Is there any one out there that would know where I could get such information as average age for masters,what percentage would go to meets etc. We are trying to hit them from all angles as to how the city would benifit from major meets etc.
Any other information any one thinks could help us we would glady use.

Kudos on your efforts to bring swimming to your area.
The only advise I have for you is to try the major swimming magazines for the information your asking about. Perhaps the Administration departments could steer you in the right direction.
Also "schools" with pools and regular competions could offer some direction too.
