Hi all. I am trying to make a "home made" ledge to practice with. I found the approx. size but, did not come across the depth below the water line allowed. Does anyone know this measurement or where i can find it? thanks to all that reply.
I have swum in, and officiated, meets using Omega backstroke ledges. Officials are told to set the backstroke ledge on 0 (level with the waterline), unless the swimmer asks for help to adjust it. Possible Omega ledge positions: -4cm below the waterline, -2cm below, 0, +2cm above the waterline, +4cm above.
