Made only 1 race this year ... 6th M35-39 800 Freestyle SCM. Was really close in 100-200m Fly. My 1500 from training in December would have made the list :(
Congrats to those who made the list! Maybe some year I'll be fast enough to make the cut as an individual...I'm still getting faster, so there's hope!
I did manage to make it for the second year in a relay. Our men's 800 free relay 160-199 was 2nd with a time of 8:30.69!
I managed a fourth in the long course 1500. Quite surprised because I felt like it was a terrible race. The LC 1500 is definitely the event to swim to maximize your chances of making the world top ten, that's for sure!
I was also a member of 200-239 relay teams that were second in the 400 medley and third in the 800 free relay. Our 400 medley time was good for sixth place all-time!
even though i felt my swims at mt hood were pretty bad due to the food poisoning i had leading up to summer nationals.
i guess i cannot complain about my rankings.
