Suits that hold up?

Back in the 70's suits were made of 100% nylon and lasted for ever! When I started swimming again I knew this old bod wasn't ready for a brief so I started wearing jammers. No matter what brand I buy they only seem to last a month and then start to stretch out, bag, and sag. I've since switched to an all nylon drag suit which is holding up, but I don't like the style. does any manufacturer stil make their briefs and jammers out of nylon? Or is ther a manufacturer that makes a jammer that will last more than a couple of months?

  • I've had good luck with the Speedo Endurance+ polyester jammers. I have three suits that I rotate for practice and all have held up well over the past year. I always make a point to rinse them out with fresh water, either in the locker room shower or in the sink once I get home. The oldest one is getting a bit baggy, but part of that is due to my losing weight - I just consider it to be more of a drag suit now.
