After decades of "finger drag" drills to teach us how to keep elbows high during freestyle arm recovery ---- why do I see soon many olympian swimmers using straight arm recovery?? What do they know that I an unaware of?

this little girl...you may have heard of her...janet evans...pretty much did a straight arm recover to set several world record and win a few gold medals...back in 1988 and before. so yeah...3 decades.
