Swim Cap Tan Line

Hey guys and gals, I have come across a problem that I think affects everyone who wears a cap and swims outside, a forehead tan line. This is my first summer actually swimming outside full time, so I'm not sure what to do. I would just not wear a cap, but because of issues with my ears, I am permanently required to wear ear plugs (I have permanent scarring on my inner ear and going below four or five feet is too painful). My question to you all is, is there a way to not wear a swim cap, wear ear plugs without them falling out, and not looking weird? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks! Alex

  • The Speedo SpeedMask 10453 Dan Wow,I don't think they have made those in over 15 yr at least. I got one when they came out. It was a more streamlined version of the Gogglecap which was in use in around the late 1970s I believe. The Gogglecap was much more comfortable and durable than the SpeedMask. At a meet where I was wearing a Gogglecap,a friend of mine told his son "see that guy in lane 4,that's Spiderman."
