There is are limit for 14000 entries. I have some doubts about this. I think is not a good idea for limit the number of swim people.
A better way would be to increase the standard times imo.
I looked into this last year as My main 2016 meet but they have restricted it to European teams and there is a minimum amount of time you have to be on the team to compete. It sucks and is not very inclusive!
There's a lot of excitement in the UK. Yes, it is a shame that it isn't more open, but then it would be the European Championships. Anyway, that debate happened at the time of announcement, as I recall.
14000 is a huge meet.That is more than twice as many swimmers as Worlds in Montreal. Is this meet LCM?
Yes is LCM.
Entries means here that it is possible to entries in 5 different events for ONE single swimmer. So if everybody is swimming 5 times is just "only" about 3000 people.
I guess the registration will be closed very soon....

Yes thats true.
I don't have a dog in this fight and this still makes me mad.I can only imagine how hard it is for the people who didn't get in and the people who don't get to swim against their main competition. Not to mention the people who got in but their relay didn't.
