Competitive Sleeping

Is anyone else annoyed by those watches and phone apps that track your sleep patterns? I was given a Garmin 920xt watch for my birthday in November, and I started tracking my sleep. At first, I thought it was cool, but I really didn't like wearing a watch to bed at night, so I downloaded a "motion detector" sleep app for my iPhone. Now I find myself competing in my sleep...literally. Mark

  • Competitive Sleeping! Now there's something I could really shine in. December 1st - 11 hours & 20 minutes with 48 minutes restless But that may not count, that was a fever assisted sleep. Saturday January 9th - 10 hours, 54 minutes only 20 minutes restless. I was in bed at 7:34 for that one. That was just plain tired from bumping up my training volume. Overall I don't compete with my sleep data. It usually just confirms what I already know. And I typically sleep decently enough to not stress over it.
