Have any of you experienced problems with foot tendonitis (specifically the sheath of the extensor digitorum longus - top outside of foot) as a result of overdoing kicking? I used to swim up to 2 miles a day, and often a mile of that was kickboard. The repetitive motion has done me in and made it so I have to take a break from the pool, but I miss it and want to get back. I'm looking for advice and solutions from anyone who has experienced this issue or has knowledge that might help me. Thank you in advance!

Well --- are you sure that is the diagnosis? Have you seen a trainer or foot doc? I have a "morton's neuroma" a irritation that runners get. Mine is from pushing off the turn walls a LOT.
