I just got home from Atlanta and my first meet in five years at Dynamo's St. Patrick's Day Meet.
Alltold, I'm fairly disappointed that my best event was not what I wanted it to be, however I suppose I had to expect that I'm five years older and was one second faster than my last attempt.
My 100 fly was 1:08.80 in 1997 and today I was 1:07.86, but went out too slow, splitting 33.xx and 34.xx.
Any advice on getting over feeling like I'm not where I had hoped to be, despite being faster than five years ago? (I was at 1:03.xx in the five years prior to that last attempt)
Thmaks in advance for heartfelt condolances, since I don't get sympathy at home.LOL

If you get faster and older at the same time, you may just live forever. I personally feel that I am fast enough, just not old enough........................ ;)
