Tech Suit Advice for Masters Women

Any female masters swimmers out there have suggestions for tech suits? Some of us are no longer shaped like skinny high school girls, and I'm having trouble finding a tech suit that can physically get over my hips and thighs but not be waaaayy too loose on top. Are there any brands or models that people have found to be accommodating to the bodies of older masters swimmers? If I'm spending that kind of money on a suit, it needs to fit properly.

  • I aDoes the size you purchased match the size recommendation from their chart? I am built like a frog. I tried 6 or 7 suits and had to keep sending them back. Very frustrated. Last year I bought the Tyr short john, not the tracer B short john, it doesn't make it over the fanny. I bought a 29L. The only problem was it was a little too long from waist to neck. This year I tried the Arena power skin. Ordered same size as practice suit according to chart. Did not feel very fast in it. Do I ordered the Tyr from Tyr this year in a 30, same size as practice suit. It fits better than the 29L and is almost as fast. Maybe I'm just getting slower. The suit holds up well. Good luck.
