OK, I'm in a bit of a pickle. I ordered a new Speedo Lazer X on sale over the 4th of July weekend. They were out of my size but it was supposed to be sourced direct from Speedo and shipped today. When I called today to check on it I was told they were delayed until August 7th. This means I won't have it for Nationals. I tried All American Swim as a vendor for Nats but was told they wont have them at the meet. I really don't want to pony up full price just to have another one waiting for me when I get home. Anyone know any reps that might be able to help me out? Any other ideas?

I've bought a lot from Swim Outlet. They might be able to ship you something quick that's priced well. Then you could cancel the other order...
You might consider having them ship to your hotel. I did that in San Antonio with Hammer Nutrition and there were no problems and I got what I needed on time.

The fact that you have a few #1 in the world times might have helped :)
I guess I'll just have to see what I can get from the vendors. It is disappointing to me, however, because this was going to be my first cutting edge suit purchase. I've had several tech suits but always a generation or two behind current offerings. I've been wearing blueseventy since the full suit era (even though I never bought a full suit until about a year or so before they were outlawed). My thought was blueseventy now seems to be focusing more on open water so I decided I'd try Speedo (going back to my pre-blueseventy years). I thought I was getting a great deal (sale price + current suit) but no size sourcing before Nationals kinda kills it. I just can't justify paying full price + next day air to get one before Nats so maybe I just have to go back to the NERO14. It's just a frustrating experience and one I've never had to endure when ordering suits previously.
I have the Speedo and I don't like it as much as the B-70. In fact, I prefer the B-70 Nero TX as I get fairly good compression and comfort and I like the light weight.

The Nero 14 is a great suit. I don't think you're losing anything by using it rather than anything Speedo makes.
