As many of you know, my granddaughter's club recently lost its coach. The club is currently an institutional owned club. The institution does not want to continue sponsoring the club. They are suggesting to the parents that they organize a parent owned club. Unfortunately, the parents I have spoken with have no idea how involved starting a USA swimming club is. Most think it will be a matter of advertising for, hiring a coach with the promise that if he grows the club he will get a cut, and setting monthly dues. I have found the information on starting a club at the USA site and will take several of the forms/checklists to the parent meeting. However, I would also like to be able to take information to the parent meeting concerning coaching positions and salaries. The team is VERY small and I'm not sure the size could support a coach. We only took 15 swimmers to a meet this weekend.
Is there a place on the USA site where coaching positions and positions wanted are advertised?
