  • To do one world record in an evening is huge, to do two is exceptional, to do it in these two events is beyond belief. Simply amazing. I can't wait to see some videos of these swims.
  • I just checked out the race videos on SwimSwam. (The 4IM is edited down to about 2 mins.) The final turn of the 2FLY is insane! Check out how fast she dolphin kicks. If I didn't know better I would think the video was on fast forward! swimswam.com/.../
  • To be honest, I can't belive this is real. Just waiting for the doping test...This two ladys are like Amstrong and Ullrich in the tour the france. Just over the top...but you know how this will end... Martin: Evidently you don't follow swimming at all to make a statement about these two swimmers being like Armstrong and Ullrich in biking. If you did even the simplest research about these swimmers you would have found out that both have been some of the greatest swimmers in the world for the past 5 years. The only drawback if you want to say something negative is that both of these swimmers have not been as successful in the LCM format as they have been in the SCM format. Katinka Hosszu was the overall winner in the FINA Grand Prix in 2013 and won over $100,000 dollars. In SCM in her career, set has set 7 World Records in the 100 IM, 9 World Records in the 200 IM and 4 World Records in the 400 IM. In 2013, missed the WR in the 100 Back by .11 and Missy Franklin's WR in the 200 Back by .71 seconds. Mireia Belmint Garcia is the current world record holder in the 400 and 800 Free in SCM and before this meet had been close to the world records in the 200 Fly and 400 IM. Both of these swimmers have dominated the FINA Grand Prix and have been drug tested many times because they have been the top swimmers in the world for many years. I have linked some background for you on the history of these swimmers. en.wikipedia.org/.../Katinka_Hosszú en.wikipedia.org/.../Mireia_Belmonte

I found this post which has the list of online broadcasting channels (very few though) and also eimple tip to access the geo-restricted websites. www.purevpn.com/.../ I hope swimming fans here get benefit to watch live events. nice. thanks for sharing.
  • That Swimming World article is scary.I hope the IOC and FINA have the guts to respond forcefully, but that would be surprising given their history.
