What did they say you did wrong?
I think Elaine said it was for an alternating kick. This is a tough one. Your feet do not need to be in the same plane, but they both need to be kicking at the same time. There's probably a bit of a fine line between an uneven dolphin kick and an alternating kick.
All up and down movements of the legs and feet must be simultaneous.
The position of the legs or the feet need not be on the same level, but
they shall not alternate in relation to each other
