  • As long as we are asking for old results, anyone have Men's 1975 NCAA Swimming and Diving heats and results? I have looked all over the NCAA website, found nothing. Anna Lea?
  • As long as we are asking for old results, anyone have Men's 1975 NCAA Swimming and Diving heats and results? I have looked all over the NCAA website, found nothing. Anna Lea? I have the full results of the 1975 NCAA Championship meet and results up to 12th place. All of the NCAA results used to be found in the Official Collegiate Scholastic Swimming Guide and these guides were printed up until 1982. The 1976 guide has the 1975 results and Jeff Roland from Utah is on the cover and he is the only NCAA Champion ever from Utah. I know you know this guy because he was a powerhouse in the WAC conference which you swam in when Arizona State used to swim in that conference before moving to the PAC 10. They also have the Conference Championships in these guides and I see you took 6th in the 100 Fly with Jeff Roland winning. I can give you a copy of these when I see you at the convention. NCAA results are real hard to find and at one time you could find results on the USA Swimming site as far back as 1998. I am not sure if they still list those but its all most impossible to find any past results unless you have the Collegiate Swimming guides, AAU guides, and old Swimming World Magazines.
  • The best I could find was a list of locations and the overall winners (and second place) going back to 1937. The question is: do they even have a paper archive of the meets? USA Swimming has kept and posted Olympic trials results back to the 50s and earlier.
  • Mike, You might try contacting Bruce Wigo at the ISHOF. If not electronic, he might have hard copies.
  • That might be further back than electronic records have been entered?

  • Not sure if there is a smiley for hitting your forehead, I even have a swimming guide from 1974. I would love to see the 1976 edition.
  • Not sure if there is a smiley for hitting your forehead, Is that what you were looking for? ;)
