I know the conversion formulas to go from yards to meters, or vise versa, are not great, but I just have to hear some others opinions on converting LCM to SCY and comparing to previous SCY PBs.
A swimmer, who is a friend of the family, dropped a ton of time from her last LCM PB’s. If you totaled across all eight events she swam this past weekend, she dropped well over a minute. When her LCM times are converted to SCY times only one time was better than her last SCY PB. Everything else was hanging in right there with her previous SCY PBs. Her mother is concerned that there hasn’t been as much improvement as there should have been. What do you all think? Reason for concern or not?
