I used to be the one yelling, "the water's too warm!". Now, anything under 78 and I'm freezing. I'm thinking of buying a rash guard, but my local sporting goods stores don't carry them, so I have no idea how much drag they create. Would that keep me warm without creating drag? I can't stand the thought of a claustrophobic wet suit. I need something to keep my arms warm when swimming outdoors. Right now, the outdoor pools are barely 72 degrees.
If your arms are cool, have you thought about just getting some arm warmers like runners/cyclists use? You can peel them off later, but they might be able to help keep you a bit warmer.
