I am amazed at the information given out on the forums and feel like Ive missed out on numerous opportunities for information. I have never competitively swam first of all. I just recently was slated for a swim course that for me seems intense so Im looking for advice on what I should train on and what I should be eating. Im 35 years old, 5'9 and weigh 186 lbs. The screening for the course consisted of 500mt times swim under 13 minutes 25 mt underwater swim 50 mt brick tow (brick out of the water completely) 40 meter swim with brick retrieval (both hands out of the water) I passed the screening, but I have no clue what I should be doing to prepare for this upcoming course in the next couple of weeks. I eat what I want normally and train the way Im comfortable so this is an entirely different element for me. Any information as far as eating habits or training in general is definitely appreciated. Thank You Donnie Current
