How do 50m and 10mm freestyler generally train? Do they do fast and short distance sprints with plenty of rest or just normal and short distance with normal rest? Like example doing 10x100@ 1.45 or 10x100 @ 3.00?
Also should stroke work be done often? i am now incorporating snorkels as drill work too, to really concentrate on body position during kicking and pulling.
Depends on your coaching and response to various types of speed work. Many, if not most, sprinters do a lot of weight work to keep up the strength needed. Technique is more important than distance in training.
