I really liked my Fastskin3 I used at Spring Nationals for my shorter distance events but found it tight and restrictive and not very comfortable for the middle and long distance events. Does anyone have any recommendations for suits that have good compression but are also comfortable enough to wear for the 500/400 and up?
Ever since they got rid of the full body suits, I've refused to pay the big bucks for jammers. I really like the TYR Tracer Light (www.tyr.com/.../tracer-light-jammer.html), though shop around the web as you should be able to get it closer to $125 and occasionally even as low as approaching $100. I'm a 34 waist and sized down to a 32 which is great for a couple of meets, but am even contemplating a 30 to see if I can handle the compression when it's new, but then get a few more meets out of it.
Amazon has certain sizes of TYR Tracer Light on sale for $101 pre-tax -- www.amazon.com/.../ref=pe_140090_63087090_em_1p_4_ti
Now that's a deal. They even had free shipping and returns so i bought a 28 and a 30 to see which fits best. I had a 26(S4) in the speedo which was too tight for the middle distanc events so suspect the 28 will work in the TYR suite. Thanks for the link Patrick.
The #9402 has more compression then the sharkskin and reports are it is faster. Any new Yingfa models available that could go head-to-head on compression and material with the Tracer Light? I liked the Sharkskin model as a great in-season suit, but, at least IMHO, the Tracer Light is better on material and compression. It would be great if Yingfa could produce a 'paper-suit' like jammer that was competitively priced.
Eat the right doughnut and your energy increases, therefore faster times. What I Might ??? gain in a jammer tach suit, I could erase by eating a doughnut!!!
I would not pay over $35.00 for a tech Jammer.Any new Yingfa models available that could go head-to-head on compression and material with the Tracer Light?
