Being over 65 yields some good deals in our society. One, offered through programs like Senior&Fit and medical insurance companies, will pay for gym membership. I'm curious if any Masters Swim teams have looked into qualifying for benefits into Silver&Fit and/or Silver Sneakers, specifically getting Masters Swimming dues or fees for workouts reduced or even paid for by Medicare?
I did some preliminary googling (silver&fit masters swimming) and found that some gyms with pools and YMCAs affiliated with Siler&Fit also had masters swimming but did not delve deeper to see what is paid for. I will call my local Kaiser Silver&Fit administrator when they open this morning to see about getting our local masters group to be qualified as a fitness provider. Will keep you posted on any progress.
Being 67 1/2 , I need to look into this savings. Is there a website I might go to for info?
