Swimming after a second-degree burn?

While swooping a hot glue gun out of the reach of my toddler, some hot glue dripped onto my foot causing several large blisters. One isn't bad but another is quite painful. Does anyone know if I need to stay out of the pool or if it would be okay to swim still? Thank you!

OH, I wouldn't go in the water with a burn. Every time I have any sort of burn the water seems to make it feel a whole lot worse than it actually is. I'd sit it out for a week just to be on the safe side. Sure, you'll have to work hard to get back on track, but at least you'll heal okay.
