What if the coach really doesn't want any attention brought to this matter?
I'd ask you to look at the Facebook page to better understand the thoughts of the UVA swim community.
For the benefit of Jeff and the other five people on the planet who aren't on Facebook, I'll summarize: the thought seems to be that if Mark didn't want any attention brought to the matter he would have quietly contacted someone and asked that it stop. His silence is being viewed as tacit approval (or at least, lack of disapproval).
At least, that's what I got out of the comments, I'll admit that I didn't read all of them in detail. I like and respect Bernardino a great deal and hope he wasn't forced out. But I still had a hard time clicking the "like" button on a "friends of UVA swimming" page... :)
