As a native southern Californian and 4th generation from Pasadena, I agree with all of the haters. No one should ever come here from out of town. It is terrible that we have no season changes, the earthquakes are FRIGHTENING, we are forced to swim outdoors all year round, there is no end to the miserable life that we endure. To top it off, we never ever get to learn how to drive in snow. What a gyp.
To be fair to MV re: strip malls. Because of the hilly nature of the area, at least you cannot see one mall from another.
