Major 1650 sandbagging by a forum member

Looks like it is to gain 20 minutes of rest before doing the 400 IM. What do you folks think? Fair play or not? I say anyone attempting the 1650 and 400 IM back to back deserves some slack.

  • As I posted earlier, I simply prefer to swim in a heat with other swimmers who have entered "realistic" seed times. Since seed times shouldn't be taken seriously perhaps everyone should be required to enter NT and be seeded randomly. Then everyone's happy, right? Probably not...the ironic thing is that sandbaggers generally depend on the very system (reasonably accurate seeding) to achieve their goal in sandbagging, usually to swim with slower people or to manage their timeline. But if everyone did it, then sandbagging doesn't work any more.
