FINA rules as modified for Masters competition and as printed in the latest edition of the FINA Handbook will govern all aquatic disciplines at the V UANA Pan American Masters Championships. At the end of a race I am frequently not thinking clearly.My natural instinct is to pull myself out of the pool when the heat is done.That seems a silly thing to get DQd for,especially as it doesn't slow the meet down.
With the flyover starts in a 25 yd pool it seems that it would be pretty easy for some swimmers to not have time to get out of the way before the next swimmer is coming back.It also seems pretty easy for someone to accidently kick the touch pad on their way to the side.
