FINA rules as modified for Masters competition and as printed in the latest edition of the FINA Handbook will govern all aquatic disciplines at the V UANA Pan American Masters Championships. I also understand why the 1500 isn’t contested at Masters continental and world championships. At a big meet the 800’s can take 12-14 hours; it would be difficult to get an event host to staff an event that took 24 or more hours to complete.
