  • exactly all you have to do is go back to my posts from italy last year. i climbed onto the blocks for my 800m at 7:35pm and 100 guys in front of me had been DNS with on deck seating. and this was a 10 lane pool!!! in a typical 8 lane pool that is 13 heats of 11 -14min each. i wasnt even close to being in the last seeded heat (but now i would be! :D ) oh yeah, and this was *just* mens!!! women had their own pool. of course it was the biggest meet ever held by almost 50% too when the host country brings in as many entries as the largest meet and then you add in the rest of the world...it was a bit much
