You guys are just guessing. How about a more scientific approach, hmmm? Start with the circumference of the earth, 40075160 meters, and then multiply by the population of Western Australia (2118500). Then divide by the capacity of the IUPUI Natatorium (4700 in the stands plus 1500 on deck) and then (this step is important!) subtract the volume capacity of the IUPUI main pool plus the diving well (5488847.081 liters). Divide by 8675309 for the win: 1577.803716 swimmers. DONE.
