Yeah I noticed my *** I am WAY on top of the water... I just need to be taught all over again how to go under like they do now! I now realize why people practice so much... its all about muscle memory and remembering this...a nd that... and breathe here... kick here pull here...Yes, there's a lot of muscle memory we didn't get in HS/College. I like to do a lot of 2 kick/1 pull breaststroke. This forces you to dive under and get a feel for gliding. It also helps to see how few strokes you can take to do one length of breaststroke. Don't worry about speed, just glide and get everything of each stroke.
I did have a great time... I was gassed after each one which was surprising... but again I'm way out of shape and looking around there weren't a lot of 6'1 250 lb guys swimming!! I now know why they are all so thin!Amazing how much fun can be packed into 30 seconds. Let us know how future meets turn out.
