That happened to me when I swam with a youth team while in my 30's. I made a comment about not recognizing a girl with her clothes on. Unfortunately, this was a 16 year old and I said it to her at school within hearing of several teachers.
yeah. we ran into one of the 12/13 year old boys from the team at another pool after a practice with another team he's on.. I said hi to him but he didn't realize who we were until he saw my husband. I said to my husband 'he probably didn't recognize me with my clothes on.' It was... awkward.
