I tried to get to the team website through the LSMC page on the homepage but it said the link didn't work.
Does anyone swim for that team or any in the area and have some info? I'm moving to the area in mid-March and hoping to join a team.
Depending upon where you're living and how much you're willing to commute, I'd recommend either:
Santa Clara Masters (www.teamunify.com/TabGeneric.jsp -- legendary pool, great team, close to Sunnyvale
Stanford Masters (www.stanford.edu/.../) -- one of the most impressive swim complexes in the country, gobs of workout times, huge team with any speed you want to train with, a bit of a drive
Mountain View Masters (http://www.mvm.org/index.php) -- smaller team, more basic pools, great coaches & camaraderie, a little closer than Palo Alto
These are based upon my experiences dropping in to swim with these teams. If it were me and the drive was doable, I'd go to Stanford just to be able to swim in those beautiful pools.
