“It’s My Birthday and I’ll Swim if I Want to”
Many swimmers do special things for a birthday swim such as swimming their age number of 50’s or 100’s. Some may be even more creative! What do you do?

42IM - if done in a 10.5m 'pool', how much actual swimming would there be?
420IM - is that 400IM with an extra 20m of free? or should I find a pool that is 25cm (SC) or 50cm (LC) too long?
4200IM - nooooo! paaaaaain!!
42000IM - ???
There are actually some 20 yard pools still around. When I was in college (late 90s) the University of Chicago (in our conference) still had a 20 yard pool so their home meets were held elsewhere. I looked it up recently and they now have a very nice pool that opened in the early 2000s. The University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University recently had a dual meet in a 20 yard pool (adjustable bulkhead) so that they could break a bunch of the old 20 yard records.
