Masters States here tends to be small. Might end up like 2011 (I'd win that 50BK easily) or 2012 (distant last same event). Decent fields at our Nationals, though smaller than USMS, and number of slowish swimmers is a crapshoot. I might be racing for 2nd last, 3rd last or 5th last (at least this year).
I'd love to see 43yo Paralympian Kirsten Bruhn show up at Masters Worlds in her wheelchair and take out half the field. If anyone is interested, ParalympicSportTV did this video profile of her in 2009: www.youtube.com/watch. She's broken 3 or 4 IPC world records in the last year.
