I did not know that USMS does not belong to USADA. Rumor mill speculates that a percentage (small? large?) of masters records (FINA, USMS) were set by athletes on performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).
I believe USMS has rules and regulations regarding conduct of its members. I think we should follow them with common sense and compassion. If Armstrong desires to compete in USMS meets and someone or some other agency thinks he should not be allowed to compete then we should utilize the procedures in place to properly determine the issue. To blindly follow the decisions of others would be wrong. If a decision has to be made USMS should hear all the facts and make its own decision.
