Armstrong and USMS - Swimming world article

www.swimmingworldmagazine.com/.../33152.asp Article written by P. Whitten. I did not know that USMS does not belong to USADA. Rumor mill speculates that a percentage (small? large?) of masters records (FINA, USMS) were set by athletes on performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).

Did anyone read the Both Sides of the Lane Line issue on testing for PEDs in masters? I was kind of shocked by Jeff Erwin's contention that USADA says you can't put on muscle mass past 30 without PEDS. I thought that was directly contrary to research. You can gain muscle mass through resistance training at any age. That is well documented in the literature.
