I did not know that USMS does not belong to USADA. Rumor mill speculates that a percentage (small? large?) of masters records (FINA, USMS) were set by athletes on performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).
Who cares? Masters swimming is a ridiculous charade anyway. Techsuits, anyone? Until they're banned by USMS everything's a farce.
What charade? What are you talking about? Masters swimmers wear the same suits as USS swimmers. I think there was only one season, SCY 2010, when masters wore the full body rubber tech suits that had been banned. I hardly call what we're wearing now "tech suits."
