In the recent Streamlines, the piece by Hammer Nutrition was called an "Advertorial".
As a side note, I did some research on the ingredients of one of their products, "Race Day Boost", which is 500mg of Sodium Phosphate. After reading the side effects of ingesting that ingredient, :afraid: . Using it as a colonoscopy prep was bad enough... :bolt:
Researching the ingredients of some of their other products was enough to keep me from dropping any $ on them. My advice to anybody considering nutritional products from this company or any other is to do your research. None of these products fall under the jurisdiction of the USDA. And, I don't see that any of the Hammer Nutrition products have a USP label ( http://www.usp.org/ ). I will stick with a good diet and supplements recommended by Consumer Reports that have been USP tested. :2cents:
As for my choice of post-workout protein, I drink 8th Continent Lite Chocolate Soymilk. I fill my aluminum water bottle then put it in the freezer for a short time, before I leave for my swim. I keep it chilled at the pool in a sleeve designed to keep wine bottles cold, so, by the time I drink it, it's nice and frosty. :chug:
