Dry land workouts for sprinters

I have recently decided to start my sprinting "career" but I am new to it. What dry land workouts, particularly in the weight room, would be good for me to do? What about the number of sets and reps? In addition, what core exercises do you do and how often? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    As my workout room is at home, I do: 30 crunches 30 push ups (till failure) 8 pull ups 6 squad jumps 5 minutes rest between them and this complete set 3 times. Takes about 30 minutes. I do it 2 to 3 times a week. I know there are better ways but I think it is better then doing nothing.
